About Us
Resilience Cayman was formed in 2020 in response to COVID19. As to address the immediate and long term issue of food insecurity for many residents hit through job loss and business closures. Since April 2020, Resilience Cayman has provided food assistance to more than 3,000 families through food vouchers and daily meals. We have provided summer internship opportunities and grants to 35 young Caymanian college students. Ensuring that they are able to continue their education and develop workplace skills for their future careers. Now Resilience Cayman has launched Local Market to provide residents with access and information about healthy local food. Having access without leaving their homes, and at the same time showing our support for Caymanian food growers and artisans.
